About Us

Montana Truck Services, Inc. (MTSi) opened it's doors for business in January 1999.

The founder of MTSi, Virginia B. Burris, a truck owner herself who became frustrated with the apathy shown to her when raising concerns or for asking questions of her service company. She recognized the growing need for more full-service licensing and permitting agencies for the trucking industry.

Drug and Alcohol Testing Service (DATS) a Division of MTSi was established in 2004. The primary focus at that time was to provide MTSi customers, with the option of an in house DOT Drug and Alcohol Consortium. We now offer multiple consortium pools consisting of our DOT Open Pool, DOT Company Pools and Company Non DOT Pools. In 2009 we became a certified Drug and Alcohol collection site specializing in a safe and compliant workplace. See our DATS Services page for all the services offered.
